Where do my images go?

Into the library of the Google Photos account you chose in the settings – as the original, unchanged.

Why a different account than the browser’s?

Many people collect in an account of their own. Clip2Cloud asks you which account to use when you set it up, and makes sure its access to Google belongs to exactly that account. The account of your browser does not matter.

How do I switch the account?

Open the settings (popup → “Settings”), “Edit” at the target, then “Choose account”.

How many images can I save?

Ten per week, Monday to Sunday. It goes on again on Monday.

Why not from X, Instagram or Facebook?

Saving from X, Instagram and Facebook comes with Clip2Cloud Plus – soon.

I see no notifications.

Your operating system probably mutes Chrome’s notifications. Allow them in the system settings. Every clip also shows in the popup, even if it could not be saved – with the reason.

How do I remove Clip2Cloud and my data?

Click “Remove” in chrome://extensions. History and session data are gone with it. Settings and the weekly counter that Chrome syncs may stay in your Google account until you reset the sync data in Chrome. Saved photos stay in your Google Photos until you delete them there.
